“The message behind “The Adventures of Chris Fable” is as old as the Pilgrim’s Progress… but this version is full of fast-paced, youthful adventure. I’m so grateful for this exciting drama that tells an old, old story in a fresh new way. I recommend “The Adventures of Chris Fable” for the whole family!” Joni Eareckson Tada

“Adventures of Chris Fable,” a film based on the ageless story of The Pilgrims Progress, is truly a wild ride! It has adventure, fun and excitement while at the same time teaching valuable life lessons that adults and kids alike can understand and apply to their lives. It is action packed and thought provoking, a movie the entire can family can actually watch…and ENJOY… together!”– Crystal Lewis, Christian Singer/Songwriter

This movie is inspired by “Pilgrim’s Progress” by John Bunyan and features a young and very talented actor named Solomon Ray who plays the central character Chris, or “Christian”, and the movie focuses on his journey to the Celestial City. As “Pilgrim’s Progress” was big on allegory, this one is as well. A character names “Philosopher” believes the Bible is too simple to hold truth alone, and a salesman type character wants to sidetrack young Chris from his travels. A Fagin-like Character (from “Oliver”) helps keep a group of kids without homes alive by providing them food to eat and a place to stay, as long as they steal for him. When Chris gets caught stealing at a church he meets Pastor Evangeline (Elizabeth Mouton) who challenges him to find his father from whom he is estranged. Chris launches out on a symbolic journey and must deal with many enemies along the way, enemies who intend to get him sidetracked and off of the straight and narrow path. There are a few moments of fantasy type violence and a fist fight between two characters, prompting our awarding of the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages twelve and up. This is an imaginative film along with some neat special effects work and we gladly award it our Dove Seal. Since I first read Pilgrim’s Progress I have been imagining Christian on his journey to the Celestial City in my mind. It was such a thrill to watch it unfold on the screen in this imaginative and creative adaptation. And it was an even bigger joy to introduce my young daughters to this epic story for the first time. Not only did my five year old not blink during the entire film but we were able to discuss the journey to heaven represented in the movie afterwards. I fully recommend “The Adventures of Chris Fable” to you and your family, you’re gonna love it! – Pastor Levi Lusko, Fresh Life Church, Kalispell, MT

“The Adventures of Chris Fable” is what a film ought to be: ideas that matter wrapped in a great story with good characters, projected against a beautiful backdrop, accompanied by a killer soundtrack. My kids and congregation loved it, and so did I! – Pastor Cliff Purcell, Whitefish Church of the Nazarene, MT

After watching “The Adventures of Chris Fable” I embraced the movie whole-heartedly, since it is loaded with Biblical truths that would capture the attention of a child as young as 4 or a grandmother as old as 90. We showed it to our congregation and invited the community, some of whom had never been in church before. EVERYONE loved it. I urge fellow pastors to show it far and wide.
– Pastor Bill Myers, The Little Brown Church of the CMA, Bigfork, MT

“We had a great showing yesterday of your movie along with the movie “To Save A Life”. We had over 200 people join us and the kids were really receptive to your movie. Wanted to say a huge thank you for everything! God Bless!”

This is an amazing movie. Finally a high quality, Christian film that doesn’t feel low-budget. A film truly for all ages. Children, pre-teens, and adults will all come away challenged and blessed. Highly recommended. Get your copy today…no! Get 10 and share them with your friends! They will be grateful!

Wow! This movie was a blast. One of the best family movies I’ve ever seen. There are great lessons for younger kids in this film and tons of fun for adults! Looking forward to watching it again.

Finally, a movie for kids that has values I believe in. What a fun and amazing twist on Pilgrim’s Progress. This is a family film that will captivate everyone’s attention. The characters are believable and fun to follow. Every aspect of this video is a home run!!!

Kids really enjoyed it (with the action, and actors their own age). But adults enjoy it too because of the funny lines and humorous characters (especially the stammering Iggy, who is King of his universe. His only problem is that his universe is quite small.)The fun and action is wrapped up with good moral lessons. It’s a hoot for the family!

Great, fun flick! One you won’t feel bad that your kids saw it either. Have a very enriching story!

ABSOLUTELY the best of the best movie I’ve ever seen for the entire family! Loaded with great characters and a ton of action, it’s fast paced enough to keep the attention of a 4 year old, but has Biblical allegories that keep the attention of an 80 year old great gramma. FASCINATING. THANK YOU for putting out this amazing movie.

this movie makes you laugh and cry and think. it’s a great remake of the book and sticks very closely to its basic themes excellent!

Great movie! The kids love it. Lots of action, and a great message. The score is unbelievable!

A great movie for the discerning parent! What really set this movie apart for me from others were the solid biblical truths and parables that permeated the story from beginning to end. Scripture references and biblical principles abounded, and really open up avenues for parents to speak with their children about the situations that area addressed in the movie. Such issues as choosing friends, making difficult moral choices, and showing discernment and wisdom in your thinking are some of the priceless lessons that are taught in the story of the boy Chris who is searching for his father. An amazing and accessible tribute to “Pilgrim’s Progress” for both young and old alike.

This wonderfully unique movie employs a variety of character building lessons while telling the story of Chris and his journey. Our 4-year old loves the movie and picked up right away what he should be using to guide his own journey. It is a treat to have a movie with humor, suspense, and a great message that the whole family can watch. This is a must have for your collection!

I LOVED this movie. When I have kids I would definitely buy this for them. What is so awesome is it is also a great example of the trials that you face in your walk as a Christian which made a great reminder for adults as well. I was watching with my young nephew and he was completely captivated, each scene was completely engaging and it was totally worth our time.

This movie is excellent! A fun movie to show the true power of God if we choose to journey on his path. Even my 5 year old is in love with the movie and pretends he is Chris on his journey with his friend Faith. Highly recommended for everyone, especially if you liked the book.

Robots, explosions, and a great story… you can’t go wrong with a combination like that. “The Adventures of Chris Fable” was an wonderful movie that the whole family could sit down and enjoy watching together. A great story line that isn’t demeaning to adults and older kids, yet action packed enough to keep the attention of the younger ones. It’s not easy to find a “clean” movie these days that everyone, young and old, can enjoy. A meaningful plot helping to show that the road to a better life is not always the easiest journey, and not everyone you meet along the way is going to help you. I personally enjoyed watching it and was happy to add “The Adventures of Chris Fable” to my DVD collection for my family to enjoy for years to come.

“The Adventures of Chris Fable” is based on John Bunyan’s book, Pilgrim’s Progress, the best selling book of all time (except for the Bible). The cast is well chosen, the director has a good eye for camera shots, and the script is entertaining and thought-provoking. It’s a story about a kid named Chris who is living with a bunch of misfits. He ends up leaving them to find his way back to his father.

Really, this is the story of all of us in this life, and the movie will hit home with you and anyone in your family. It’s a great movie for family and church, and would also spark some discussion in a home group.
